Title: Looking for real blackpowder in the north end
Post by: Rob on February 24, 2017, 05:30:17 PM
Hi all.  Based on feedback from my thread on flintlocks, it looks like I need real blackpowder rather than substitute.

I understand that Muzzleloader supply on river road in Puyallup has it, but I was hoping that there might be someone up north of Seattle and closer to home.

Anyone know of a shop that sells it?

Rob.. .I think you need to go visit the next cowboy match in your area. Find anyone in full costume and gear that ollnly goes by Red or Bear and guranteed they will know. Also...pretty cool to see a match while you are there.

Try Adventure Sports in Lynnwood.  Owner is a muzzleloader guy, I don't think they have it but would bet they could get it for you.

Yep, they are minutes from work. They got lucky....a big building going in next door went up in a massive fire a few weeks ago....very close.

Seriously! That's the second time in a few years.  About 2013-2014-ish half of that big white apartment building behind them burned.

Either John has got some great fire retardant on that roof or his insurance fraud schemes are not well executed. :chuckle:

I remember that fire, I was headed south on 5 out of Everett and saw the glow in Lynnwood.  Looked like the sun was setting.  Only it was in the south and a couple hourd later than expected.  Glad Adv. Sports was not hit.

Cascade mountain men are having a show in Monroe March 11th and 12th at the evergreen state fairgrounds might try there if you can wait. Sportsman's Warehouse in Puyallup had an empty spot labeled goex, Everett might be closer to you they may carry it.
