Finally drew this elk tag with 9 points. I plan on hunting it in September/archery. I'm familiar with lay of the land to some extent I have never hunted it but have been in the unit and am well aware of the the private land vs public land and have the Garmin and its accessories to guide me through that part. I have a few areas in mind to scout but I am all ears for any advice on this unit from any of you others that may have hunted this hunt in the past. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Upon my return from this hunt I look foreword to helping a fellow member if needed. Thanks!

wish I could help more. Good luck! I have been told the archery season is a much better season than the rifle due to the elk still being up high vs moving down to the private property as the weather pushes them down.
