Title: Two eye Swaro spotter
Post by: Mtnwalker on March 03, 2017, 05:24:30 PM: Anybody had a chance to look through the new two eyed spotters from Swarovski yet? I just saw these, not sure when they came out, looks like they could be awesome though! No more fatigue from one-eyeing it all day

If I was gonna go with a pair of legit big eyes, I'd spend the money on a pair of Doctors. As much of an optics nut as I am, I won't be ordering this one.

Those Doctors are nuts. Guess they are pretty popular in Arizona.

Post by: Magnum_Willys on March 03, 2017, 06:27:50 PM: Not sure I would spend $2700 to convert a perfectly good spotter to a fixed 30 power binoc. I think adding a 15x binoc would be a better choice except for weight. But I really like turning spotter up to full power often.

Post by: jjhunter on April 27, 2017, 08:24:28 PM: After rave reviews from guys I trust, I had no choice but to order a BTX and a 1.7x extender. With an STX eyepiece, 95mm and 65mm objectives, I should have an option for every scenario I could run into.

The the new plastic film lenses are supposed to change everything soon. Cheaper - lighter - sharper.
