Title: Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 FFP
Post by: Tiger1358 on March 07, 2017, 12:16:13 AM: Does anyone have an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 FFP scope or has anyone used this before???? I heard they perform just like Vortex Viper PST, but Athlon is just a little over $350.

I heard their customer service is outstanding. And they got pretty much the same type of warranty as Vortex.

I would love to run one of the new Cronus BTR.

I plan to post a full review after I've messed with it a bit this summer. The few guys I know with their optics are dedicated followers now, similar to Vortex fans. I expect I will join their ranks shortly.
Regarding customer service:
When I've called, I spoke with Jeff for 40-90 minutes each time and he's been overwhelmingly helpful and generous with his time and knowledge. He came from another optics company after trying out the Cronus spotter a few times!

I've been told it's going to be worth the wait and everyone I chat with about theirs has gushed about the quality of everything.
As soon as mine arrives, it will be getting put through the paces. I just need my custom rifle to get finished up in time for the scope to do my eval all at once.

Mine arrived yesterday ! Looks like a solid product. Nice clicks, superb packaging. Will test tomorrow.
