I thought for a long time I'd bought and put together an AR10 - my first build. I have been told on the Grendel site that it is in fact an AR 15. I look at the lower and it ways PA 15-Multi. Also, it doesn't have a forward assist. Can anyone tell me if this lower is the same size as the regular AR 15 lower? What about the forward assist? Does that make a difference? I love shooting it. I just am pretty ignorant about ARs.It's an ar 15... I've found it amusing that you insisted it was an AR10 but you had enjoyed a few grapefruit juice and vodkas! Lol

Admittedly, I know little about different AR platforms. The last time I used anything like an AR 15 was the m16 almost 40 years ago. I thought for sure that the guy who helped me build it told me it was a 10. So I was mistaken. That's why I started this thread to make sure. I thought I'd get info from guys who knew better than I.if that's the case, he is obviously in error..but yeah, could be the vodka..

I'm sure I misunderstood him. Funny, until yesterday I never noticed "PA15-Multi" stamped on the lower and I was the one who put the lower together. I'm old and feeble but I can still shoot straight.forward assist can be had or not had on either the ar10 or the ar15.
