Title: Will Easterns come into merriam decoys
Post by: Mallardmasher on April 01, 2017, 09:54:09 PM: I found a few large groups of Easterns this morning, and was wondering if they will come into my new DSD merriam decoys.

Post by: Mfowl on April 01, 2017, 10:06:02 PM: Merriam's and Rio's will crossbreed where there populations overlap, I don't see why an Eastern would discriminate. I would probably just try a lone hen to be on the safe side. Good luck, phantoms don't come easy! :tup:

Even so, I doubt it would make much difference
