I spent the first week of October helping a friend get his Idaho moose. We spotted this bull from the road just before dark on Tuesday and decided he was too big to pass up. We spent the rest of the week looking for more moose and taking pictures. We called in a bunch more bulls but only one was respectable. The weather was nasty the whole trip, we either had rain, wind or fog to deal with - up high we did get into snow. In five days we saw 28 cows, 15 bulls and heard 4 bulls grunting that we never saw.

AWESOME pictures Timber. I knew I could count on you. Make sure one of those gets in the contest. Yep, pretty nasty crap up there this year.

Nice work Timber! Great pictures as always. Very nice looking bull. I know this moose means alot to Steve, he is very deserving of him. Little different weather than last years hunt!
