Your not always hunting over bait
Warhorse why the hate?
Your obviously are a much better Hunter than my girls and I.
I'm sure you put way more miles on your boots to hunt that's the only way to do it right?
I get so sick and tired of you people who think your way is the only way.

I think there are some folks here who don't like OVGS' tactics. I can understand that. He obviously has deer killing dialed in.

The name tagging thing doesn't seem to be working for some reason. edit, works now.

Warhorse
I apologize if I miss understood your post.I see other threads on hear about baiting and stuff and I get a little riled up.My daughters first deer was with a guide and she was very excited then her boyfriends family gave her crap saying using a guide was cheating while they were at her dinnertable eating that deer.So I get a little wound up.
Thank you for wishing them luck

hal... not that it really matters, but that was not Gibbons running hunts in the Havillah area.  It was Dick Caryl of Cascade Outfitters.  He was using my ranch along with some neighboring ranches.  Several years back he was  asked to go elsewhere, hence no more signs.

Best of luck to you and your daughter. With everything that's going on in the valley it might be better to go to the Okanagan instead.

More power to you Jerrod, I know the effort you are putting in to have the success that you have- my hat is off to you! Don't let the social BS get to you, your way above that, keep up the good hard work and reap the benefits!!

Warhorse.... it's fine.. hunting over feed is not for everyone.  But it is the only way for a lot of my clients..  I've learned in this business that you can't please everyone.  I work hard at what i do and I have never broken any laws doing it.   We have lots of ground and provide a service for people that want a good experience and not see people everywhere they go.  It's not for everyone.  Hope everyone has a great hunting season.👍

hal, you must have missed my post on Sept 7th.  I still have the signs that I took down and (trust me) that they are not OVG's signs. Please feel free to stop by if you are coming up this way.  13.5 miles up the Havillah Rd, live in a big red & white barn.

Throwing in my two cents on this. Gibby is a good guy and has worked his backside off since he was 20 to build the business he has. I've known Gibby since he was in high school when I coached against him when he was playing ball in high school. Even if you never book him for a hunt or a fishing trip, give him a call just to shoot the breeze. Go talk to him at a show. Just because he you may not agree with some of his methods doesn't mean he's not a great guy, father, and outdoorsman. I know the hours he puts in to be as successful as he is!
