I wonder what the guy in the red Ford is doing up oak Creek with a packboard and bike 😂 >:(
-
Exercise before the May 1st antler hunting show.
-
Probably the same thing I saw the 2 guys in a Black dodge doing yesterday coming off the river road on the backside. We were heading up to hopefully get some photography footage of the Rams upon the Hillside and saw these guys coming out at an early time in the morning around 9 a.m. and my wife swears up and down that she saw horn sticking out the back of their truck. :sry:

Sure is nice up there right now, lots of sheds and no people!
-
If he was coming down the road right past the feeding station he's perfectly legal....

:yeah:.
Let the haters hate. Do your homework before you say he might be doing something wrong.

How about complain at all the people, including several members of this site for putting a lot of pressure on the elk up Sanford Pasture. They know who they are.

I believe that's bear canyon gates closed to motorised access till may 1st you can walk or bike in as far as you want! Oak creek is marked really well with boundry signs!
-
So he rides a bike up it when they open the gates on opening day? Is it because the cars move slow or what would is the reasoning behind choosing a bike on opening day?
Sanford Pasture is a joke, there's been 10+ cars everytime you go up.
And I never said he was doing anything wrong but there's definitely an idea that floats in all our brains that people going up that are stashing horns or stealing them.

Was just getting his exercise..

No I'm saying right now it's open for shed hunting up that canyon mostly everything to the left going up is not in the oak creek boundary! He's legal as long as he doesn't go behind the signs and it's posted very well! 2 weeks ago there were guys parked at every place that you can go this time of year! Even up towards naches on the back side of the boundry!
-
It's more crowded in the lower elevations right now than it is during deer season. Even on the weekdays. Ridiculous.
I'll stick to at and above the snow line.

It's pretty crazy for sure! I'm on the west side and still guys everywhere but I understand it's an addicting hobby I'll be over there again for the opener the kids have a good time sure it's a rat race but its like a Easter egg hunt for antlers for them, good times!
