Post by: Machias on April 13, 2017, 12:50:42 PM: I was thinking the same thing. It is about $2500-$3000 less though and everything I can find in the reviews in the ATV magazines and off road magazines is they are good machines. I was just looking for someone with first hand experiences.

I need a bigger machine than our Hondas. I'm going to be putting tracks on during the winter months. I really like the Grizzly, but the lower price tag always catches my eye.

The Kodiak has a slightly lower seat and is built more for work, hunting, trapping etc than the Grizzly which is built for destroying ugly terrain quickly. Do a side by side comparison and they are really built on many of the same things, engine etc..
