Title: wildcats
Post by: jdb on February 21, 2009, 12:03:06 PM: any wildcatters? I think in this day and age most are pointless, that being said if I were rich and had lots of time I'd probably have 3 or 4. The .224 tth seems interesting. I've always thought a 30-30 ai in a t/c contender would be fun to play with.

Post by: jjhunter on February 21, 2009, 02:54:12 PM: I built a 22-6mm a few years ago for a long range 'yote rifle. Shot 80 grain bergers and 90 grain matchkings. It is an awesome long range varmint cartidge. Pretty easy to load for, but it was tight-necked which meant a little extra case prep.
