Does any one else shoot these off like mad ? I just put a few on. Shot my bow maybe 30 times in a weekend and there's not a single one left on my string. Is this indicative of anything with the tuning of my bow? Are these just crap ?

I bought a few and gave them a try. They were pretty expensive where I bought them. I though maybe a buck each, but I think it was 2 for 5 bucks. They lasted about the same, maybe 30 shots. Waste of money. I don't think they even reduced the noise at all.

I have always had good luck with them

I got my bow in a trade last year and it had monkey tails on it, so I thought I'd give em a shot for the year. I tested them on and off and they did help dampen the "string vibe" sound a tiny bit, and I didn't lose any speed through a chronograph so I just left them on. They lasted 8 months with a LOT of shooting before I took them off. The ones you buy in the pack are much more durable than the ones that come on mathews bows. The durability probably has a lot to do with how much stuff they contact while bouncing around on the string.
What made me stop using them was they started fuzzing up my cables pretty bad. After taking a slo mo video we saw that they stretch out a ton on the shot and hit the cables. Look near the top cam in front of the quiver hood.

That's a cool picture.

I've shot 100's of arrows with them on and never had a problem. Just started having them split after almost 2 years.

Never had lunch with them. Speed buttons work the same and last :twocents:

I'm the same , hundreds of shots a year for three years and replaced one only.
