So I didn't draw general deer for Montana, but I'm going to try and draw the antlerless mule deeer tag for region 7 so I can still hunt with my buddies this November.
But my question is this: If I don't draw the mule deer doe tag, can I just buy an over the counter B license in region 7 and still hunt for a whitetail doe?
As far as I understand it, I think I can just buy an OTC does tag when they go on sale in August and then just hunt with my buddies who drew the actual general deer tag. However there is some wording in the regulations that confuses my simple brain, so if any of you guys who are more familiar with the Montana regulations could pint me on he right direction I would appreciate it.

Yes, you can buy one B license for an antlerless whitetail in region 7.
