Title: Finally Found The Bears
Post by: buckcanyonlodge on April 25, 2017, 07:06:25 PM: I recently activated my real estate license and was out today taking pictures of a 252 ac. property I am listing tomorrow. We went on the north side of a ridge on the property and started running in to bear crap ALL over the place. We went in the next drainage and came upon this bear. Notice the grass growing in this huge meadow. Bear heaven. Of course he does not allow hunting. I need to win the lotto so I can buy it!!

There is a home and shop that goes with the 252 ac.. He may split off 80 ac. for $200K owner contract and the whole pkg. for $679K. I work with Westergard Real Estate in Kettle Falls. It's on For Sale By Owner right now ---listing number 20593354---lots of pics.

The bear appears fairly large. Large poo, large neck, small ears, ears set apart, possible fold in the middle of the head.
Legs are a bit long, so not super fat.
The back hips seem wider than the front and that there is more weight in the rear. Possibly female.

The bear seems like a shooter to me (after making sure that there are no cubs, of course).

Size-wise, I would have guessed male. Hips and rear weight-wise, I guess female.

What are your thoughts?

(For our next game, we will guess the make and caliber of the side arm in the one picture :chuckle: )

Post by: buckcanyonlodge on April 26, 2017, 10:59:50 AM: Nice size boar...Not a Monster but really nice. The poo in the pics might not be from this bear as the bear was over a ridge and in a canyon away from the poo.

In case you have any doubts, yes, that is what sarcasm looks like. Dead bear without hesitation.

Here is a picture of "Rudy" He would come to butch's house and get in the bird feeder.. Also a few bucks from his feeder and elk in his field.
