Nice set.

Let me guess, the pictures were correct and when uploaded to this site they rotated, correct?   Some day hopefully HW will look into this.

@bearpaw

Fairly sure it's not HuntWA. I've loaded hundreds of photos and as near as I can recall, never had one sideways. I've also corrected dozens of sideways pictures.

Something is weird then because I've had several rotate only when uploading them here.  The fact that you have rotated dozens may indicate an issue.  Two other people made comments about the same thing in another thread on shed antlers.

I just put @jackelope on the other threads I was referring to.

I have had trouble with photos when I rotated them a certain way. But that problem is evident wherever I tried to use the photos, they appeared turned in my folder but no matter what program I tried to post them they would still be sideways. I'haven't had that problem for several years and I can't remember the exact way I was causing that to happen, but it wasn't associated with H-W it was caused by the way I was rotating them. What I did to resolve the problem was try different methods to rotate the photos and since then I haven't had the problem.

Those are some great sheds Yager!  :tup: :tup:

My son has been out shed hunting, he's only found deer and moose, we are still seeing elk with their antlers on, but I've heard guys are starting to find elk sheds.

I'll try to figure out what's happening on my end.  It's frustrating...I've even rotated photos so they're sideways on my phone, then upload and they still come out the wrong way.  Maybe I should try upside down.  Lol

When posting from my iPhone or tablet my pictures are rotated. I turn the phone 90 degrees, screen shot it and post that one

I'm posting from an iPhone as well.  Maybe there's a setting that needs changed?

That's odd, but I guess expected since the picture is always oriented correctly when looking at it and sending it in text messages.  It's something when I upload pictures directly from my phone.  They are oriented correctly on my phone, then they always turn sideways once the post pops up.  Maybe it's an iPhone thing?   Hopefully someone can chime in with a fix.

I might be going crazy, but does anyone think it could have something to do with the way I'm holding my phone when taking the pictures?  Horizontal vs Vertical?

Sorry old man yager for taking over your thread with this.   I know there are several people experiencing this issue though from some of the responses to this thread and others.  Hopefully we can figure out what's going on.

It looks like the horizontally orientated photos work! Vertical ones, not so much.

Vertical works fine, just remember how you hold your camera is how the photo will post.  :tup:
