I was recently walking through Costco and saw that they have some trekking poles for sale there at 29.99 a set. They look to be comparable to the $50 Amazon poles I see for sale. Carbon fiber, telescoping with quick locks and an array of different feet for them...
I am a disabled hunter and bought a set of these last year after being told about them by another member so I thought I would pass it on. They seem to be a good deal price wise and I use one as a cane most days. :IBCOOL:

I have a set of those. I like the shock absorber in them, too.
-
I have a set of those that have seen me to the top of Mt St Helens twice, plus a hike / climb to the top of the highest mountain in Sweden. Yep, definitely worth twice the price.
-
Which costco has them?
-
I just called Costco in Lacey & was told they have some in stock.
-
I just picked up a pair at Smokey point Costco
-
Silverdale has them too picked up a set myself
-
Looks like I'm going shopping tomorrow. Thanks for the tip :hello:

The poles are good Quaility. I bought a set for my kids and they are great.
-
Tacoma had them as of last Friday. I'm sure giving them some consideration. From what I've seen on the interwebz, Costco has been selling these for several years (different models).

Picked some up last year. They work great for $30

Vancouver Costco had a pretty good stock this morning. Look good for the price.

I just picked up another set yesterday in Puyallup. These new ones have cork handles, my old set, that I've been using for 3 years, don't.
-
They work pretty well. Definitely a little cheaply made. Don't expect years of heavy use and abuse but for 30 bucks a very good deal
-
I picked mine up at the Gig Harbor Costco, been using them a lot as I walk with a cane so I shortened one down and use it everyday.
-
Tacoma Costco has lots of them in the store.
-
I picked up a set this weekend, can't complain for $30.
-
I'm in. Got some in Lacey on Friday & plenty still there.

quality is as good as price paid

quality is as good as price paid
From what I have seen the quality is much better than most others in this price range. Very much better. Not on par with a pair costing a hundred-fifty or a couple hundred dollars, but then again no one would expect it to be.

Reviews are what they are and depends on how the poles are used, snapped a couple of Costco ones off going off trail. Don't go into it thinking that all carbon fiber poles are the same. If you are going down a trail and not putting a lot of weight on them they should be fine.
