Title: Trekking poles at Costco
Post by: Don_D on May 02, 2017, 12:53:21 PM: I was recently walking through Costco and saw that they have some trekking poles for sale there at 29.99 a set. They look to be comparable to the $50 Amazon poles I see for sale. Carbon fiber, telescoping with quick locks and an array of different feet for them...

I am a disabled hunter and bought a set of these last year after being told about them by another member so I thought I would pass it on. They seem to be a good deal price wise and I use one as a cane most days. :IBCOOL:

From what I have seen the quality is much better than most others in this price range. Very much better. Not on par with a pair costing a hundred-fifty or a couple hundred dollars, but then again no one would expect it to be.

Don't go into it thinking that all carbon fiber poles are the same. If you are going down a trail and not putting a lot of weight on them they should be fine.
