My first time out this season, I had shoulder surgery I completely tore my rotator cuff off. I had to shoot off hand made a good shot first time I've ever gotten one with a double beard.

Nice work!
I was up at my property today close to chewelah and saw about 75-100 on the way there and at least 20 on my property. Hard winters don't seem to effect turkeys around here that bad.

I have to say this is my best bird yet. I've had longer beards but the hooks and his wt are my best. My wife was with me in the blind. 9" beard, 24.99 lbs and 1 1/8" Spurs.

I don't typically expect much in the way of weight, beard length, or spur length for Merriam's, just a full fan........but that second bird is a great bird. Congrats!

Nice bird. I got one up the hill from you a few years back with nice spurs. He was just under 23 lbs at the taxidermists scale. He was my best and got him mounted. I've taken quite a few in that area and usually are around 19-20 lbs. There are some nice ones out there.
