Title: any good pistol smiths in WA
Post by: Rufous on February 22, 2009, 10:45:17 PM: My dad just gave me his old Browning Hi-Power. It needs a front sight installed as the gun had a Bomar ramp sight installed when my dad bought it many years ago and after taking that ramp off I discovered that the slide does not have a front sight or even a dovetail in which to install a front sight. So I need to find a gunsmith that can either mill a dovetail in the slide or weld on a front sight. I would prefer to use a local smith. Any good ones in my area (I live in Walla Walla) who are qualified to do this work? Thanks, Brian.
