Title: Curlew area Turkey Question
Post by: Elkstuffer on May 10, 2017, 05:04:08 PM
Has anyone had any luck up in the Curlew area this year. I've only seen a handful of birds up there over the years. We're going to be camping up at the lake over the Memorial Day weekend and I'd like to get my 11 year old out for a hunt one morning. PM me please with any advise. Thanks folks!

I shot my first bird just south of there and have seen birds in previous years just east and south of curlew.
Last year we didn't see diddly but republic locals make it sound like they are everywhere

There up there, head up more toward Boulder Pass and call in each drainage.  You will get a response
