I have a some of the older leg hold traps. I know it is illegal to use them, but am I allowed to sell them as decoration pieces? I have no use for them anymore and would like to get rid of them. Thanks for the help.

I have no idea bud. Don't know what they go for. Just trying to make sure it is legal to sell first, seeing as they are illegal to use.

Sell away, nothing illegal about selling them, what the buyer does with them is out of your control

Sure not illegal to own them just to use in WA. You can sell them but I would say they are all what we would call user traps not collectible. I would say they are worth about a dollar a size plus a little so a #4 worth $4 and they are jumps plus in good shape, maybe $6.
Can't tell the sizes but look like mostly #3s 0r #4s. I can see one #14 and maybe more are #14s. 14s are basically a #4 jump with teeth. Those probably worth at least $12.
You could probably sell them over on Trapperman because they are legal in most other States

Thanks for the info. All these are the same size, must have just been the angle of the picture. None have teeth. A couple I can't read what it says, but all the others say Oneida jump 3. I have someone local here that was asking me about them that's why I asked about the legality here first. I tried to do a little research on prices, but knowing nothing about them I was only able to find a big price range of $10-60 each. Don't know how accurate that is after what you said, lol. If my local guy here decides he doesn't want them, I'll throw a classifieds post up here. Thanks again

Makes sense, they look in good condition so $10 may be fair. $60 is more then a comparable new trap would be so I think that is out. Of course I see traps that are common in collectible places with crazy prices on them sometimes so who knows what someone may pay.
They are a pretty common Victor brand trap so no actual collector would be interested.

I have some old victors that are with some coyote pelts just for decoration, great for that.

All jump traps (singe spring) too. Many a mink, bobcat, scrat, beaver, marten, yote, etc.... fell game to these same traps while growing up in the Big Sky State. I'll take em for nostalgic value if nobody else jumps on them. RJ
