Title: What's up with my rangefinder?
Post by: TriggerMike on June 11, 2017, 06:53:46 PM: Yesterday I was out and about shooting my bow and ranging alot of different targets. I noticed there was a little jagged edge in my viewfinder when I looked through it, then over the course of the rest of the afternoon one little jagged spot turned into a bunch. Interesting you say that because I read on another site where a guys Vortex did this and then they sent him a new one and that one did it as well. Mines not a Vortex though, just to clarify. I thought about the internal paint possibly bubbling or something but it was only 70 degrees yesterday and I wouldve figured that would only happen in extreme temps, but I really have no idea.

Do you leave your range finder in your hot car?
Nope. I always put it away when I'm done with it. I bought it a few months ago so it hasn't really even seen summer temps yet.
