Barrel is a 1:8 twist.
I have limited load data as I don't have the latest got hornady book.
Tried H4350 in various charges with decent results.
Anyone else loading this bullet in a 6.5 creedmoor with good results?

I went out and picked up the newest hornady book today and saw the rl15 and rl17 powders listed. Think I will give them a try.
Nice group! I am impressed with the quality of the ruger American predator. Seems very well made at a good price.

I've loaded both rl17 and h4350 and think I like the H4350 a little better. I had some pressure signs in hot weather with the rl17. Both are crazy accurate and rl17 is faster but h4350 make s a little more comfortable.
I haven't shot the RL-17 load in warmer weather. I've shot H4350 a bunch in hot weather. Thanks for the heads up.

4831 and RL26 seem to work well in the 260 Rem shooting the heavies and with the 6.5 Creed being a ballistic twin to the 260, those same powders should be top performers in the Creed too. In fact RL26 seems to be taking over as the go to powder that H4831 once was.
RL26 is some pretty amazing stuff for performance. It turned my 264WM into a 26Nosler. I talked to the techs at Alliant about it's temp stability. They call it a temp stable "wannabe". Meaning it's not temp stable but it's pretty predictable. But it is not even close to the temp stability of H4831 or H4350.

I never bothered to figure out specifics with temp/pressure, but I have heard people claim 3fps/degree.I've loaded both rl17 and h4350 and think I like the H4350 a little better. I didn't re-chrono it, but I worked a load in 45-50 degree temps....worked great....then shot in 85-90 and the primers were uncomfortably flat and cases were more difficult to extract after fired. Needless to say, I switched to H4350 which grouped equally as well and I am very comfortable with.

I'm going off of actual experience.....I re-read it and my post didn't come across as I intended. I chronoed my loads in the winter and zero'ed, then in the summer (last year) I was playing around at 700 and my numbers weren't working out....checked the chrono and I was 150fps off, never bothered to check the actual temps. Very true, when it comes to temp stability, nothing, is as temperature stable as H4350.

Those of you using RL26 - where do you find load data?
A lot of guys are just making up data. Start around 44.0gr of reloader 26 and work up. Be prepared for heavily compressed loads though. I doubt you can cram enough of it in the case to get in too much trouble.
