Just ordered a Tikka T3x in 300WM. Any recommendations on 180g factory ammo based on personal experience for accuracy? Will likely be shooting 400-500 yards.
It'll be my new Elk gun.

The Tikka's seem to like the hornady ammo based on my experience shooting them
This round shoots great out of my T3 in 300 mag and is a good elk bullet

I shoot nothing but bergers out of mine but there also reloads. Not sure what factory ammo loads bergers but for those ranges a VLD bullet is a good choice

With that light rifle I'd be shooting 150 grain bullets, most likely Barnes if your rifles likes them.
