Title: Tikka T3x ammo for 300WM
Post by: Gentrys on July 11, 2017, 05:06:09 PM: Just ordered a Tikka T3x in 300WM. Any recommendations on 180g factory ammo based on personal experience for accuracy? Will likely be shooting 400-500 yards.
It'll be my new Elk gun.

This round shoots great out of my T3 in 300 mag and is a good elk bullet

Post by: lord grizzly on July 11, 2017, 05:27:23 PM: I shoot nothing but bergers out of mine but there also reloads. Not sure what factory ammo loads bergers but for those ranges a VLD bullet is a good choice

My Sako Finlight loves Winchester Supreme 165 gr. and Winchester Super X 150 gr.
