Talking with Rainier10 about field judging bulls and pics of this boy came up. have no idea what this bull scores. I kept track of a lot of them in this area and know of a few pig bulls that were killed. As far as I know this bull was never killed. So what's your score? And if you're feeling spunky, give us the measurements on him.
My guess is 370. What say you??

Cough cough. You know what. You send me the coordinates and I'll go out there and conduct a scientific study and make a determination on the exact score. >:( see, that's my serious face cuz I'm >:(

Okay, I know I said in a text that he was over 360 and I would shoot in a heartbeat but now I am putting pen to paper to come up with a more accurate guess.
I am still a rookie and my tag if it has the HSLAH reaction when I see it I am shooting. This bull has that for me.
I say 53" main beam, typical points are 18,17,14,20,12, four mass measurements of 28" a side and a spread of 42".
Final number 366 and a shooter all day long if he is reincarnated in the colockum this year come Sept 9th.
Edited now that I realize there are two different bull photos

350 gross

Wait a minute you have pics of two different bulls in there. The one with the 8th point isn't the same as the first one. I think I know what that one scores and it is more than 378. Let me edit my post just looking at the first two pics.

Plat's fault!!

Me :dunno: since there's a lot of confusion on the bulls, just me give me the coordinates to the location of both bulls and I'll determine a score on them. Scientifically, of course.

Well I believe one(the second one) is currently residing above the mantle over a nice fireplace in SE King county. The other one...your guess is as good as mine.

I think Plat could bring them in with one or two of his fire sticks and give and give you a accurate score + or - an 1/8th. So I would be giving him the coordinates ASAP, he is a busy man.

350 is my guess. Somewhere between 340-360. The bigger bull I would say is about 360-375. my guess would be 365

The big bull officially gross scored 399 5/8. He's dead.

"He's dead."
Haven't heard that one for a while.
:chuckle:

I thought you might like that one.

ya, after looking closer at the big boy I would agree he is a bigger than I first noticed. Where are these elk from? Not asking for your hunting spot. Just a Blue MT, Clockum, Yakima, or out of state would be a fine answer.

Dang. 399! I knew he was big, but that's YUGE!

Not exactly sure. There are 2 that could be him but not 100% sure. In your pic he looks like a 7x7 i have watched the last couple years

Not as far as I know.
Then the score is Bull 1 - Hunters 0.
