I just bought my antelope tag and figured I'd remind you guys to get those control hunt tags bought before August 5th so they don't go into the draw for leftover tags.

Leftover drawing odds are HORRIBLE, I hope they all get picked up so I don't waste $30.

If you don't remember to pick up the super duper awesome sauce tag that you draw...you don't deserve it.That's all true but there's still an elk tag or two I wouldn't mind taking a chance at drawing. Horrible odds are better than no odds. I don't pitty anyone that doesn't get them picked up, or takes anything as gospel that isn't from the state fish and game department.
Leftover drawing odds are HORRIBLE, I hope they all get picked up so I don't waste $30.

So any unit/hunt that has less then 10 tags left will have no non resident tags? Not sure how that works.

8 of 22 unit 13 deer tags went to NRs.
Regardless the second draw odds are HORRIBLE all the way around!!

They don't follow the 10% rule in the 2nd draw. I believe it even says it in the laws.

My dad has pulled a tag on the second draw and is an Oregon resident. Odds of me actually drawing a tag in the second draw are worse than the odds in the first go around but there's no chance of me drawing if I don't apply. No 10% rule in the second draw, all the names go into one bucket to see who is luckiest. Remember to get your applications in before the 20th!
