Title: Ruger #1
Post by: wastickslinger on October 12, 2007, 11:24:25 AM: I picked up a Ruger #1 22-250 the other day. It will be my new coyote slayer I hope. I threw a Leupold VX-1 one it that I had laying around for now. I will likely get a new scope in the next few months. I love the grainy look on the walnut stocks of the #1. What do you guys think? Anyone shoot a #1 in a 22-250 that has any suggestions or reccomendations for ammo. I am going to try some federal premium first, it was on sale.

Post by: wastickslinger on October 15, 2007, 12:46:14 PM: I shot it this weekend about a dozen times. I just wanted to get it close to the center before I take it to the range. My last 4 shots were about a 2" group. I cant wait to put it on a bench and see how well it will stack bullets. I love gettting new guns, great excuse to get out of the house a shoot a few boxes of shells.
