I looked at the hourly weather on the weather app on my phone, and it shows 89 degrees at 7:00 PM, 84 degrees at 8:00, and 79 at 9:00. For me, morning would be the only option, so hopefully I'll be able to get out there early Friday morning.

I love it when the guys w bait post within a couple hours of light on opening day, just happen on this bear in the woods! :chuckle: :chuckle:

Several idiots were heading in at full speed, fishtailing up the gravel roads and into the hills at last light as I was leaving. Night hunters I guess.

Yea I found loads of them but didn't look like anything was eating them. Blackberries are a week or so out in the area I was in.

I saw a flushed a decent 5' bear in there last night but was not able to get a shot off. Went back this morning but it was pretty quiet and there were 4 trucks at the gate.
