Do any if you cats have one on your hunting bow? Got a call in to Cory to see if he's available to put one on my Darton this Saturday. Have heard good things about his strings.
-
Cory makes great strings, I have had two strings custom made there. I just bought a brand new bow from him a few months ago so going to shoot the factory strings for a few seasons then it's back to XXX for a custom string

Yep, had one on my Bowtech Old Glory. Great strings!

Just ordered a Vapor Trail with speednocks.
Waiting for it to get delivered.
Any opinions on Speednocks?

I have them on my setup, and have on all my setups fof the last several years. They are great string IMO. But he may be swamped right now.

G strings are solid

How long did it take to get used to them? Would imagine lots of wedgies :chuckle:

They are the only string I will run. I take all new bows to him and have a g string put on. You will be very happy with one if you can get him to set you up. He is probably slammed with Oregon and wa bow hunting season coming up. His service is top notch and I have taken well north of 20 animals with his strings.

Talked to Cory a few days ago, he's not making strings at this time. I've moved on to another local (kind of local company).. SideHill Archery strings out of Kelso. Did some research they look like top barrel strings. Gonna swing down there Monday and get the new Darton geared up

Hmmm I thought sidehill was in Kalama? I live in Kelso and have been in the archery game for a long time... haven't heard anything positive( or negative to be fair) about these guys. Please post your experience I may be missing a good shop!

I had sidehill strings put on my Halon this year. So far so good. Great guys in there with great customer service. And yeah, they moved their shop to Kelso.

Another option is wade smith's brite stings. Retired army vet and pro shooter now.
