I passed on a 3x3 today and was looking for a 4x4. I know somebody has got some success pic's, lets see them!
-
I passed a 14-15" 4x4 and seen a piss down yer leg buck on the way back to my rig, he felt it was too awkward to visit, so he just dissapeared.
-
Saw a few bucks....no shots.
-
more venison in the freezer. details tomorrow.
-
A hunting buddy of mine shot a 25" 3x3 with 6" of mass today. It was narley half way up the mainbeams and already stinkey. Definitely a shooter.

What neck of thewoods buckblaster, NE corner?
Its going to be an early year for the rut.
-
Wow, a pictuejust showed up. DANDY buck!
-
The blacktail buck that I saw first thing yesterday morning had 5 does with him, and he was acting rutty. He was just smart enough to not offer a clear shot. :bash:
-
this is my sons first white tail
-
Cool looking muley, keep the pics coming guys.
-
That was a NE corner buck. I jumped a deer today that bounded thru the lodgepoles that left a pungent odor of rutting buck as I followed it. I jumped it twice but never saw it. Another stinkey buck for sure. I also jumped one that clattered antlers thru the trees that I didn't see either. The muleys are the same color as the lodgepoles so they almost always see you first in those close quarters. Persistence is the key.
-
Nice bucks guys, congrats!
-
nice work, I must have say 20 does today but not a buck in sight
-
One of my buddys harvested a Buck on opening day over by Odessa. I went along for fun!!! I got to try out my new range finder!!! We watched this Buck bed and it was the only buck we saw!!! So mid mourning Rod decided to take him if he stood up. I handed him my pack to shoot off of. I ranged him 329 yards put away my range finder and put my binocs on him and he stood up!!! Rod was ready and made a dandy shot with and 06. Good Luck

Congrats to all you lucky hunters, sure wish I still had a tag in my pocket!
-
This probably a better pic of the 25" buck. You can see the neck is a bit swollen.

i killed a 18-20" 3x3 muley sunday evening on the way out to the truck. if i wasn't so close to the truck on the last night i could hunt, i don't think i would have shot, but i couldn't resist. after 2 solid days of covering every section of land i hunt and seeing only 5 bucks, none of which were legal...i didn't plan on seeing a buck to shoot and didn't pack any gear but my water and my knife. no camera, no pic's sorry.
i also managed to call in a coyote with one of Rick's calls mid-day sunday and smack him...which is kind of ugly when you do it with a 30-06, but hell, one less fawn/pheasant/chicken killer running around i guess, and it was fun.
one of the old guys i was hunting with killed a whitetail doe for the freezer on opening day.

Some real nice muley photos on here guys.... good job :EAT:
