Unnecessary weight?
-
The moral or ethical decision will be to illegally burn them or pack em out, or tie them from a tree.
-
Proper chaffing prevention during long, hot hikes influences the decision process much more than weight.

Negative on the commando. That's also a negative on the baby powder. Gold Bond or nothing!
-
Good grief. Under britches aren't that heavy. I couldn't imagine the chaffing. :yike:

Wow. Some of you guys are hardcore.

That's more like it  Last year I made the switch from regular old boxers to merino wool ones. That was the best investment I ever made.

Boxers briefs or depends? Underwear also doubles as emergency toilet paper. Dual purpose weight savings?

Thought that was what the top part of your socks was for. :o
-
Never tried fresh balls but Gold Bond for groin and feet are a must. Never leave the truck with out it. If u have ever had to do a bow legged walk out this is a serious matter. Ha ha
Under armor briefs best money spent.
-
Fresh balls, monkey but, depends. Wow.
I will admit, chafe is no joke. :yike:

Once the scar tissue builds up over the years it really isn't that bad.

Who doesn't carry mt money in their pack?

Monkey butt and a ziplock of baby wipes with aloe oohhhhh so fresh feeling :IBCOOL:
-
Speaking from experience when suffering from mud butt do not mistake clorox wipes for baby wipes. Ouch with a capital O.

Been commando for 20 years. Can't handle boxers or briefs. Gotta stay cool.

Sock are too valuable to use as emergency toilet paper. Ever try doing a long hike with no socks, it never ends well.

This is way more information than I wanted to read this morning... :-\

This sounds like a terrible idea. Not that I have any experience with man-scaping... cough cough... but a friend told me that 3 or 4 days later when it starts growing back, it itches like you have a midget with a tiki torch following you around. And bristly? Talk about chaffage.

I'd go with a couple WEEKS in advance, not days. That could cause some serious issues. :o

Always at least a week in advance...keeps things tidy, but allows that "awkward" few days after to pass by before you're in the woods
