Hello all. I found a trail camera this weekend in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and want to return it to its owner if possible. I was glassing for deer from a rocky ledge and nearly sat on the camera that was wedged deep in a rock crevice and pointing straight up to the sky. Initially, I thought it fell out of someone's pack or something but after looking at the pictures it appears the person set the camera in that area. Perhaps propped up on the rock somehow; there was no strap on the camera. The camera was set on 7-1-16 and was still taking pictures when I found it. Anyway, if this is you camera let me know and we will figure out how to get it back to you. Some pictures to help you figure out if it's yours.

looks like it maybe sat up there all winter. Second pick in May has snow built up around it. Interesting find. My guess is a bear yanked it off a nearbye tree and it rolled off that rock ledge. Someone probably thinks it got stolen.

23:58 and sun is out :dunno: bet Bigfoot took it from a tree in Alaska and placed it down here at his relatives cave. :dunno:

I've been known to try to try leaning a camera towards a trail when I've lost the strap. I think a bear got one, and the other suffered a fate similar to this - I think a deer kicked it over. I got a few pics of the sky, and one deer foot.

Looks like it couldve been up all winter and possibly a slide brought it down?

If you toggle through the settings, it may have a name in it.
