Title: Anyone else lose their high hunt spot to the fires?

Post by: JayPee on September 07, 2017, 06:49:01 PM: I lost 3 spots I had been into. I have a hailmary available, but absolutely no boots on ground scouting and no idea if there is any water left. Thinking about just staying home this year

Post by: kselkhunter on September 07, 2017, 06:51:26 PM: Yes, my favorite and backup spots are closed to. But I was scouting two alternate spots the past few months in other wilderness areas just in case. So, on to the contingency plan now. No fires over there.

No help to the closures, but it definitely looks good for general air quality through the rest of the areas.
