Title: What are these primers for?
Post by: Jerbear on February 28, 2009, 08:01:34 PM: My hunting buddy, went into the local sporting good store and as if the had primers. They had Winchester 209 shotgun, and full box of Magnum small pistol primers. I have several reloading manuals, but they are old, and don't list any hand gun using this primer. Just like to know what they are used for.

Post by: AWS on March 01, 2009, 04:19:54 PM: They were for use in the 357Mag with Win 296 and H-110 spherical powders as they can be harder to ignite especially in colder temps.
