Title: anti fog for glasses
Post by: Ellensburg on September 20, 2017, 04:52:06 PM: I have bad eyesight and need to wear corrective lenses. If I wear contacts, they are too uncomfortable.

My problem is, in damp conditions and sweating a lot with a hat on, my glasses fog up non stop.

Anyone have a good solution for this?

I've heard of cat crap, but I dont know if its the best.

Post by: fishsticks on September 20, 2017, 06:57:12 PM: I don't know about best, but it certainly works. Another option is individually packaged wipes from somewhere like 3m. Both should be available from industrial and/or safety supply places or Amazon. I work in heavy industry where safety glasses are required, fogged up glasses are an issue--both products have worked for me but neither has been a cure all.

Post by: b23 on September 20, 2017, 07:05:33 PM: We used to use this stuff from ScubaPro in our dive masks that was an anti fog solution and it worked really well. Don't know why it wouldn't work the same for glasses.
