Title: Went to the Entiat and look what I found.

did you see any other sign of elk in the area. or has anyone for that matter seen sign of elk in the general area.

ive personaly never seen much elk sign north of liberty on highway 97. let alone the north side of highway 2...

At least you got to see some cool critters. Saw one last time I was up in Winthrop too. One lone cow, same place as last year. I assume its the same one as in the same one I saw not yours.

Post by: UBA on March 02, 2009, 07:20:52 AM: I seen that cow several times last winter just hanging around but she was closer to the road. When the snow melted she vanished. I assume its the same one. Seen tracks up there this winter.

I know that there was three cows in my orchards up crum last winter, two left and one stayed for a few weeks with some does and then left and havent seen her back. I know that they came over from the cashmere area when they had that depredation (sp?) hunt. The game wardens were watching them.
