Title: OnX maps on laptop.
Post by: huntandjeep on October 07, 2017, 05:49:54 PM: Is it possible ? I have Montana and Washington chips. Logged into my account @ Onx opened up Washington , put my chip in a card reader and into a USB port and nothing , no landowner info .

Will try hooking up through the GPS. Although a month ago when I updated the chips with the card reader I was able to see all the info then.

You can only use them with Garmin Basecamp but you don't get a satellite overview. To be able to see landowner info etc on the Onx site you need to buy the state you want to see for $29.99 a year or all 50 states for $99.99 a year.

It uses google earth. You'll need to download it as well.

I do have Google earth downloaded.
Biggfish / goldenhtr. Are both of you saying that you can view satellite overlays with Garmin Basecamp? Where is the option to do so ?
