Sauk got a dusting last night.

This is the view from camp at about 8:30 last night in the 336. There was a wintery mix pretty much all night long. Really crunchy snow this morning. Pretty fun following fresh tracks but too loud to be effective. Never though I'd be hunting in the snow on the ML opener!

Yep, good times then and more to come!!

Never thought I would see snow during the early archery elk season. This was taken on September 20, West side, at about 4400 feet.

Not where I go.

That’s a great pic of your pack outfit breaking trail

When you can't be quiet, be noisy. I've killed more than a couple of deer by trying to sound like one walking or trotting in dry leaves and crunchy snow.

I both love and hate that photo, Kent.
