Amber has been bred and we are expecting delivery November 19.
Preference will be for working homes, hunting, field trials, agility....
The puppies in our last two litters have been fabulous. One is in Finland learning to be a search and rescue dog and another went to Windmill Farms Golden Retrievers to be a breeder stud after he earns some titles. Others have gone to hunting and family homes.
We are breeding to a son of the male that sired our first two litters as Mulligan was out of state when Amber was ready.
Amber has an incredible drive for birds but can turn it off and mellow out at home or in the car as well. She is about 47 pounds and Roger is, I think, about 60-65 pounds, maybe a little less. As you can see from the photos, he has a very similar look to Amber.
Please check out our website at islandgoldretrievers.com or our Facebook page of the same name for more photos of Amber and previous puppies.

Day 5 8)
Amber likes to bring her toys in for the babies.
-
And you all thought still photos were cute....
-
They're such adorable pups! :)

They remind me of my cousin’s little Retriever. Whenever they’d come over for a visit, his little Bill (as he was named) would run around the front yard, play catch with the kids, and indulge in his dog treats (http://www.petstreetmall.com/Dog-Treats/1513.html). As energetic and naughty as they are, they’re definitely a bundle of joy.

:)
Day 11, I've been trying to hold each one for a while. Eyes are still closed, but it looks like some are getting pretty close to opening. Their ears look like bat ears.
