Title: Fairly decent score on a 28 Nosler.

I then purchased a additional two boxes of the 175gr ACLR's. Which if you look at it isn't too bad. Nosler wants $60.00 bucks locally for 25 pieces of new brass, so I might as well purchase factory ammo for $77.99 a box get the one firing and reload the brass.

Pretty sure Hammers not selling it for $750 , believe that was what he paid.

Vortex HS-T, 6-24x50, VMR-1 MOA reticle. Sold the scope yesterday. Still kicking around what optics I'm going to go with.

The recoil is in between a .308 Win and a 30-06. The muzzle brake reduces it quite a bit considering it's a super magnum.

Made a quick trip into town and picked up some dies, powder and some Hornady 162gr ELD-X's. Should be a wicked combo at over 3300 fps.

Post by: Biggerhammer on November 10, 2017, 09:16:35 PM: I threw the dice on this rifle, actually two times for me. The fact that it's a X-Bolt and being a 28 Nosler. I liked everything about it especially the accuracy with factory ammo. 1/2 moa with a factory rifle and factory ammo at the Performance level of the 28 Nosler is impressive.

So I sold this rifle and ordered a X-Bolt Hells Canyon speed, long range with the McMillan stock in 28 Nosler. Swung a smoking deal on a Leupold Mark 6 3-18. I have a few jobs to finish up and then I will have time to get it all together and work up some handloads.
