Title: Tall Sized Sleeping System
Post by: aaronoto on October 29, 2017, 06:01:50 PM
I know this is going to be completely subjective but I'm curious.... If you fall into the "tall" category on a bag or sleeping pad, do you go with the tall size or save weight/space and buy the normal length?

Tall size. I’m 6’4”. I’d go bonkers in a short(regular) bag.

i'd go with the tall bag.
a little extra room at the bottom is great to toss your morning clothes in to keep warm.
a lot of times the difference is like 3-4 oz mayyyybe.
you can go normal, even shorter on the pad if you want to save weight there..

I have a long marmot bag and not enough room for clothes at the bottom.

$5 says for a sleeping pad you would recommend one that holds air.😉
