I don't know about passing a 160" deer. You never know if the biggest deer you are going to see shows itself opening morning or in the last hour of the last day.

I hear ya. I was probably supporting a very surprised look when we drove away from that buck. But after 17 years of applying partners niether of them wanted it to end that early :o

I applaud them for being able to stick to their guns. I did the same thing with my archery elk tag and I have no regrets eating the tag.Following along.

I have never been a believer of the saying " don't pass on a buck the first day that you would shoot on the last day "I hate that saying! Makes no sense.
