Title: Going to add to My hunting equipment. Recommendations please.

Three items I am going to buy this week. Blacktail hunter if it makes a difference.

#1 Grunt tube (what brand or a link would be great)

#2 One of the doe cans (brand or link please)

#3 Rattle horns or a Rattle bag. I'm thinking horns but open to the rattle bag. (What do You guys use)

This is what I use over here for whitetail.  Can't say that I have had much success with it though.

I've learned to hate a lot of Primos products.  Game calls are no exception, unfortunately they are often the only brand around.  Cabelas is the easiest/best source to have a real choice (in my mind) - but I'm not a big fan of Cabelas either, so don't tell them I sent you.  Local sporting goods shops often only have one choice, so big box retailers rock.

- Amost all my Primos reed calls have failed in the field - 5/6.
- If you can try a can call before buying, make sure the moving baffle doesn't rattle if you put it in your pocket and walk a bit.

I recently bought a Flextone Blacktail grunt tube at Walmart because I lost my previous one.  They also have a Mule Deer call, which makes me believe (perhaps incorrectly) that they actually tried to mimic the actual species.  What they used for an audio example is another question.  I've only seen one video that displays a BT grunt and snort wheeze - and that was a recent video.  They may just be sized to the animal.   I don't think it really matters though because BT hunters have had success with WT calls for many years.

Real antlers are preferable by many to plastic.  There are websites that sell shed deer antlers which are perfect and don't cost any more than the plastic ones.  https://www.hideandfur.com/inventory/23920439.html or https://www.hideandfur.com/inventory/23920502.html    I'd call and tell them what you want - nothing matched or perfect, but with enough tines to give you good action, and in relatively good shape, not porous from weathering.  Soak in water for a day before use and cut the sharp points off to make 'em safe.

Plastics work too.

That is the easy part.  You still have to figure out where the bucks are and then create a plausible setup/calling sequence that will fool them.

Many here would completely disagree with much/all of this.  To each his own, I say.

I know where the bucks are. That's the easy part.
I think I will buy a rattle set that comes with a video for Help.

Here's the grunt tube I've used the last few years. It doesn't perform miracles but I've had deer come closer for a look. The most impressive was a doe that came back after I spooked her and 2 others out of an area.

Primos "The Can" has worked magic for me over the years.

"The can", has never worked for me ever on blacktail bucks.   Even had a 3 point step out of the reprod about 20 yards from me one time, I just got done getting up in the tree with my self climber.  He never looked at me and just walk away, when he was about 40 yards away I used my can to see what he'd do, he didn't even stop.  he just walked slowly away.  Now i did use it on some doe's and they came running, like 5 of them, they surrounded my tree looking for the sound.  That was interesting.

Primos "The Can" has worked magic for me over the years.

Never used it on blacktails, but it absolutely 100% works on mulies and whitetail when the time is right.  The best example I have is from my tree stand one November day I spotted a mature WT buck (140 class 4x4 w split g1's about 200-300 yards off). I grunted and rattled and he never batted an eye. I pulled out the hot can and hit it one time and he stopped in his tracks, hit it one more time and he sprinted strait to me. He ran all the way to me until he was directly under my tree stand, at that point he caught my wind and blew out so I never had a shot. The hot can almost worked to good that time! i know lots of other guys that have had the same kind of luck during the late archery season.
