Title: ar 10 hunting rifle?
Post by: spoonman on November 02, 2017, 02:57:42 PM: Just wondering if any of you our there hunt with an AR10 platform and if so what brand and what caliber ? I was thinking of building one or buying a factory rifle to add to the gun safe and to hunt with obviously.

Keep it simple with no accessories, a light mount and scope and you will be just 1-1.5 pounds over most bolt actions.

Weight aside, I find them uncomfortable to carry but great for calling where the hike is limited.

I'm putting together a light weight 18" AR 6.5 Creedmoor.
