I'm having a hell of a time with this, where is the general location of gmu 621 Olympic unit?

basically go from the Elwha river to the Skokomish river, on the mountainside of 101 but not in the park.

The easiest way is to just google "Wa GMU map" and you'll end up with pictures/maps of the GMUs just like the one blacktail sniper screenshot and circled for you

In the Mt. Jupiter area I have seen some very nice deer. It is a chore to get in there. Gated roads with bike and hiking opportunities, I believe it is Pope land (Olympic Resource Mtg. I think they are called now). On the north side of Hamma Hamma above Interrome cabin.

Is the area you are referring to on the Pope Land or up by Mt Jupiter itself?
