Title: Late Whitetail Hunt, Chewelah, Colville, Lodging?
Post by: Slamo on November 12, 2017, 02:04:27 PM: Me and the wife are going over to the Chewelah/Colville area this week for the late modern whitetail hunt. Any suggestions on where to stay? Motel?

I’m one of them, lol. I booked my room at the Selkirk Motel back in end of October and they had 2 rooms left and I took one :yike: sounds like they book fast after modern rifle general...

Post by: Ripper on November 13, 2017, 01:26:31 PM: I've stayed at Benny's and recommend it. They have nice rooms and like Stein said, the hot tub is nice after a cold day in the field. I've also stayed at the Selkirk and I would stay there if money was short. It's a little better than staying in a tent, clean and warm, but nothing fancy. The Chewellah Inn is another option. I've stayed there twice and for $50, it can't be beat. For a little more money, around $120, there is Mountain View Lodge in Chewellah. Its a BnB, my wife likes it there.

There is usually snow but not tons. We have never had an issue and there is plenty of public ground up there.
