I'm guessing things should be picking up now. Who's been in the woods? What are you seeing?
-
I was out on sat. Didn't see any deer. Known scape locations where dismal but it should be going hard. Nov 18th is always my fav day to hunt whitetails
-
loon lake area,nothing..no rubs or scrapes....3=4 miles a day.
-
Was up on the back side of 49 degree north the young bucks are starting to chase talk to a guy who got one said it was chasing a doe the only bucks saw today was the one by loon lake that i had to almost had to come to a stop on the road to lithium get off the road

saw over a dozen scrapes in a 200 yard area on saturday, went back sunday morning and had to kill one out of self defense. they are out in full force to get some.

Was up this past weekend and while there wasn't a ton of movement I did get some action on Sunday. Rattled in what I can only guess was a buck since I didn't see him before he blew out. About 15 mins later I shot my little 3 pt that also came in while rattling. So they are curious and cruising. Should be getting real good by this weekend.

Saw 16-18 in the woods yesterday in 124 and no bucks around them. Saw one mature buck and he didn’t seem to be rutting. Also saw a lot of does in fields with no bucks around
-
Rattled in one today. Not much action

Spent nearly every daylight hour in the woods this past wknd, small bucks chasing and mature bucks still hitting scrape lines in the dark (game cam pics). No such thing as an “early” rut this year, the switch should pop later this wk in my opinion, just in time for season to end

Just in time for my season to start! Good luck guys

Took a friend on his first deer hunt Saturday and Sunday. We saw 13 does, 7 fawns, and 1 4x4 buck he missed at 375 yards with his 7mm Remington Magnum. We saw only one fresh rub in a thick creek bottom all weekend. The buck I spotted and he missed was bedded on a steep ridge that had does/fawns feeding on it for hours before he stood up from his bed. When he stood up he wasted no time heading towards the thick timber, this was at 3:00pm. We are going to try the same area from 11am - dark today in hopes of him taking the 4pt this time. I think the whitetail are in the pre-rut currently and come Sat, Sun we should see some bucks chasing does. Good luck everyone on filling your tags and helping others, GOD BLESS.

Seen a good 4 point yesterday chasing a doe on my way to my stand. Stopped the truck and glassed him for a while he didn't care the least about me.

I did take a buddy up the last few days of early rifle. We were about 700 yards apart just stand/still hunting. Around like 515 in the afternoon I heard what I thought was a grunt but thought no way could that be this early in the year(21 oct). I listened more intently and again heard another grunt. Looking through the trees I saw one deer, the. Another, then finally a third deer go by about 120 yards in the thick brush. 30 mins later a shot rang out and was my buddy. Was two does with a buck hot in their tail chasing. Shot a nice 4x6. Never know what will happen and when. Need to just be out and in position to capitalize on it.

I saw a nice wall hanger WT chasing 6 does around on Monday the 13th.

Appears to be picking up. This guy was bird dogging does and grunting when I saw him
