Title: Help with lady's bow purchase

What would be a good starter lady's bow to hunt with?

That all depends on budget, i bought the wife a g5 quest because i wasnt sure she would stick with it, it shoots good and is really forgiving..... she has shot  it for 3 years and will probably upgrade her to a bowtech next year.

Diamond Infinite Edge is a great bow. And for a bit more money you can get a Bowtech Eva Shockey bow.

For the money the diamond infinite edge is great, i have two of them in my household, bought a used one for my stepdaughter for 200 bucks and bought my wife a new one for 249, fully outfitted and ready to hunt when they reach to draw weight requirement, like 5-70 pound draw weight adjustment and enough draw length adjustment for them.
Better than bows i used 30 yrs ago  :twocents:
There is a used one in the classifieds that he is asking to much for, make him an offer or watch the sales

Bear Cruzer.  I got a package for my daughter from the Bargain Cave online a few days ago for just north of $200 w/$20 off $200 purchase coupon.  Comes with better accessories than Infinite Edge.  Even full price they are a good deal.

Id go with a carbon rose or eva shockey. I find with bows entry lasts about two months then she will want something quiter and smoother. I have a set up darton in muddy girl pink camo I would let go for $200.

What does she want to hunt with the bow? I assume big game. How big and strong is your wife? Does she even lift, bro?  :chuckle: Take her to a pro-shop and have her shoot different bows. The Infinite Edge and the Bear Cruzer are both great bows but she may not like them for one reason or another. There are probably a dozen or more different starter bows that can adjust up to legal pull for big game. You want to make sure that she likes the one you end up with so she'll look forward to shooting every time.  :twocents:

Had my daughter try about six different bows. One settled for the Diamond Edge the other a Parker Sidekick. Sent less the 500 each for a complete setup. including release, dozen arrows (Gold Tips) and case.

Barnett Vortex - No use spendin' the big bucks unless she's into it 110%. Can dial it  from Zero to hunting weight in 2 seconds. Draw length change in 3 seconds with included modules.

A cheap used one. I made a 1000 dollar mistake that’s been sitting in the spare room closet for 3 years and will probably  be there until it falls apart .

Send me a note if interested. I’ve got an Alpine Archery F1 Fireball with 50 Lb limbs, Winners Choice strings, and a good handful of quality 4 fletch arrows. RJ

I've heard the best answer to the OPs question is... a bow you like to shoot!

Got the wife a Diamond Infinite Edge Pro and she really enjoys it.  Small, lightweight and super adjustable.  It won't break the bank either.

Just go have her shoot as many bows as she can get her hands on that fit her.  Recently just bought my wife a bow and she picked out the mathews stoke.

My wife really likes her Alpha Max. She has had a new Carbon element for a couple of years. Still in the closet.. She has killed everything she aims at with the Alpha. Doesn't want to change. If it fits that is what she should shoot no matter what anyone else thinks
