Anyone ever have a rifle rebored? I'm kinda thinking about punching my .308 to .338 federal.

Given the risks involved and cost for about 10% more you can get a brand new pac-nor barrel so unless its sentimental I think I would go that route vs rebarrel - but I have never rebarrelled yet. Have some sentimental guns I might consider though.

for $250 i can't see how you could go wrong. a rebarrel job from pac-nor will set you back at least $600-700. i have a mid 70s .243 that i never shoot, the thing feels like it weighs about 10lbs with its "standard" weight barrel. been kicking around the idea of turning it into a .358 winchester.
