I'm thinking of getting mount done of a bull I got a few years ago. I'm looking for reviews of where to go and where not to go. Anyone have any good or bad reviews to forward? I'm located in Olympia. PMs welcome.

Just saw some really nice looking mounts at Cedar River Taxidermy when I was dropping my goat off. I know Rick comes very highly regarded as one of the best local to us. I think it’s considered enumclaw where his shop is. It’s close either way.

You should also look at Nature’s Way and Black River Taxidermy.

Look up black river taxidermy, very professional and beautiful work. Located in Rochester

Natures way does good work but I think he may be a bit slammed.
-
A bit of a drive but look at Advantage in Davenport...they do awesome work.
-
Little Willy's in Enumclaw did my buck and he did a great job and had it back to me in under 6 months.

Peters taxidermy. I love there work. Top notch and fantastic people. I started taking my work there when i first started hunting 14 years ago and always have been exceptionally happy with the work and customer service.

Rick at Cedar River did a bull for me. I was very happy with the work he did. All the projects he had in his shop looked great too. Was very good about communication and expectations as well.

I think I saw him post on Facebook the other day that he wasn’t taking anything in at this time, but it would be worth the call to find out for sure.

Buzzy Cook at Olympic Taxidermy in North Bend.
I have been taking stuff there for over 30 years and he is one of the best!

I’ve been eyeballing Nature’s way if I ever were to have one done. Charlie’s work has always impressed me, but I think he is booked out.

Charlie told me he wouldn't take any more work for a while.

I'd put in a good word for Wildlife Art Taxidermy in Whatcom County. Worth the drive imo. Bruce does some excellent work!
-
Keeping it real taxidermy! Father and son team. They do good work!
-
Cedar River Taxi.
Rick is an artist & 1 hellva nice guy.

Nature's Way, my antelope was beyond belief. It was right at 16 months if I remember right and well worth the wait.
