I filmed 2 different two points with droppers this fall. Here is the little one. The other is Mr. September. His rack was cool and I got really close shots of him. This guy didnt want me within 500 yards of him.

Nice! How often do you see a WA deer with any type of dropper?
-
Mounter! :chuckle:

Definitely rare, but they are out there. I have seen pictures of one that was taken this year.

I saw a muley in Idaho with a drop on one side this year. Real nice buck, I thought he was a bull when I first saw his rack coming through the brush. That's the only one that I've seen in my life.

I think out of all the sheds I have, I have two that have true droppers and out of all the bucks I’ve killed, I thought I had one. That turned out to be a point damaged in velvet and bent down. They considered it a point, not a dropper
-
I did get pics of a buck with a foot long corkscrew dropper. This fall. I haven’t posted him yet. He was a cal buck until he got bumped

I feel like I remember that buck/thread. Montana? Dig a pic up for us.
Mine is a weird one as well. Mine kind or originates above the main beam, but then drops... I’m not sure if it qualifies as a drop or not. I think it must completely originate from the main beam?

I remember yours as a dropper. Post a pic
Here is mine, and I guess even if it was a dropper, he isn’t from WA

I hope to take a dropper someday before I die, I've never even seen one on the hoof. Thanks for sharing the pic, can't wait for the calendar

Blurry pic, but it’s all I have access to at the moment.

I've only seen two with substantial droppers while hunting. They were both big, mature deer. I'm killing the next one that I see. I attained a trail cam picture of the buck I passed last year. He was hard horned when I had my encounter. It was a tense couple of minutes sizing him up and trying to make a go - no go decision. :chuckle:
-
Killer dropper Miles.
Ya JJ, he’d be on my hitlist
-
This buck will get his own thread, but check a sneak at this dropper. I filmed him this fall

Wowser that thing is retardedly cool.
Was it a blackie, or Muley?
-
Shot very close to the PCT. I call it a Bench buck.
-
Did you ever score him, what’s the outside spread?
-
That is an awesome deer. I think bench bucks can be phenomenal. That is a once in a lifetime critter right there.

:yeah: can’t stop looking at it.
-
Never did score him, His outside spreads farthest point is from drop tine to drop tine right at 24". He is about 15" tall
from bases, boy I could really exaggerate if I went from the bottom of one of the droppers :bdid: He is unusual enough
that I never felt like scoring him.

Cool buck JWBINX

Lol, are you sure you want to go there? This thread may quickly devolve into a discussion about the distance to Portland and or the smell test. 😀

Here's a 34 inch buck with a 10 inch dropper my wife got a few years ago
-
WOW!!
-
What an amazing buck! What did it score? Congrats to her!
-
Thanks. It grossed 216 2/8 and netted 211 5/8 and had 5 thick eye gaurds broken off. The dropper is 10 inches and forks slightly.

Nets are for fish! :chuckle: 216 2/8 monster :yike:

:yeah: that’s a lifetime buck, love seeing pics of it!
-
Turned it for ya. :)
-
Thanks nock. She was getting tired up standing on her head.
-
It's not fair to enter that buck in the "dropper" thread.
You should have to start a new thread for bucks with droppers, stickers, bladed points, deeeeep forks, crazy mass and over 30".
